Where is your confidence and hope?

Where is your confidence and hope? Today and every day place all your hope, confidence and faith in the love of God.

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?” Matthew 6:25

His love for you is constant. Life is more than food, and your health more than the clothes you wear.

2011 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,700 times in 2011. If it were a cable car, it would take about 45 trips to carry that many people.

What is the Kingdom of God?

Here is a message I gave on the Island of Bardsey, Wales, in July 2006. It was broadcast as a podcast during Advent 2006.

It is a message of great hope in a distressing situation!

Be blessed and encouraged as you listen to it!

Rejoice India!

My first visit to India was in early 1991 – over twenty years ago! Up to two years ago I was able to visit the vast country every year, often as often as twice or even three times.

The big story from all those years? The gospel is spreading like wildfire, especially in the south. I am a missionary bishop for two of the South Indian church networks. What an honour it continues to be to serve them, though from a distance in the past two years due to my work in Afghanistan.

Rejoice now india for the Lord your God is at work in you. The Indian church leaders are now at forefront of church planting. The key work is being done not in the big cities but in the thousands of rural villages where the vast majority of Indians live.

Turn your eyes on Jesus this Advent Season as you prepare for Christmas and the coming of the King!

God bless you,

Bishop Tomas Kennedy

Happy Thanksgiving from India.

Warm and Apostolic Greetings to you in the most fervent Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.

It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100
